What This Job is About:
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy & Analytics, the Director of Sales is responsible for driving and managing RedPeg Marketing’s net new sales growth, aligning with the agency's financial goals, and expanding revenue and profitability among net new brands. This outbound sales role focuses on new business generation, strategic partnerships, and enhancing RedPeg’s offerings and market presence. The Director of Sales will collaborate across departments to deliver innovative solutions and ensure alignment with RedPeg’s strategic objectives. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, networking, and highly motived sales development capabilities.

Sales:
  • Engage Enterprise prospects with potential to spend 1M of gross profit (aka “Pillar” accounts)
  • Develop tactics to execute RedPeg’s net new business growth strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • Drive necessary sales activity and manage vetted sales pipeline, ensuring measurable progress against corporate financial targets.
  • Identify, cultivate, and secure strategic partnerships and business opportunities to expand the agency’s reach and revenue streams.
  • Engage in extensive research and continuous outreach to build and grow relationships with potential “Pillar” clients.
  • Drive high-impact sales and meet aggressive revenue targets.
  • Develop innovative outreach strategies and nurture relationships with prospective clients and partners.
  • Works cross-functionally to consult on proposals to improve win-rate based on deep understanding of the client needs and desires.
  • Work with Marketing to enhance outreach campaigns that attract and engage potential clients.
Operational Excellence:
  • Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors to inform growth strategies, working with Strategy team.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of growth initiatives and report progress to executive leadership.
  • Ensure all growth activities align with RedPeg’s operational procedures and deliver consistent, high-quality client experiences.
 What You’re All About:
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in business development, sales, or marketing leadership roles, preferably within experiential marketing or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through innovative strategies and partnerships.
  • Highly collaborative, with a proven ability to work across departments and align diverse teams toward common objectives.
  • Analytical and creative thinker with a track record of solving complex challenges and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics within the marketing landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, pipeline management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Keynote, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.
