The Opportunity
The Marketing & Client Services Director is a senior leadership role responsible for co-developing and executing Pixis’ full-funnel marketing strategy while delivering exceptional, on-site client service. This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, creative production, aviation safety, and live event execution.
This position requires nationwide travel to drone show sites to represent Pixis in a client-facing capacity, ensure seamless communication, and coordinate directly with Operations and Flight Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Co-develop and execute annual marketing strategy with the Head of Sales & Marketing
Own content and thought leadership strategy
Manage website strategy, CMS migration, SEO, and analytics
Serve as HubSpot Administrator and oversee database health and automation
Design and execute direct email marketing campaigns
Manage paid media campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and Google
Develop KPIs and report on pipeline contribution and ROI
Lead social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and X
Leverage generative AI tools to improve productivity and scale marketing operations
Client Services & On-Site Leadership
Serve as primary client contact for all project-related communications
Travel to show sites nationwide to represent Pixis in a client-facing capacity
Lead creative kickoff meetings and manage drone show creative development
Coordinate storyboard, mockup, animation, and final show design processes
Ensure client expectations are aligned with operational realities and FAA regulations
Schedule and lead client meetings both virtually and on-site
Operational & Flight Team Coordination
Work closely with Operations, Flight Operations, Chief Pilot, and Grid Managers
Ensure alignment between creative vision and FAA-compliant flight execution
Coordinate show timelines with Operations and Flight Ops teams
Participate in on-site production meetings and safety briefings
Act as liaison between client stakeholders and technical flight teams
Support post-show debriefs with internal teams and clients
Qualifications
3-7+ years in experiential marketing, agency leadership, or senior marketing roles
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder live or production environments
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to live show sites
HubSpot admin-level expertise required
Strong experience with Asana, CMS platforms, Google Analytics, and paid media platforms
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Experience leveraging generative AI tools and marketing automation systems
