WHAT WE’RE ABOUT:
Pixis Drones, LLC. creates breathtaking drone shows that illuminate the night sky. We blend creative storytelling with entertainment to create aerial art displays of words, logos, and images that leave a lasting impression with audiences.
THE ROLE:
The Senior Producer serves as the mission commander for Pixis drone light shows — owning the entire lifecycle of each production from concept to flight. This role is equal parts technical producer, client liaison, and field leader, responsible for ensuring every logistical, financial, and compliance element of a show is flawlessly managed before the first drone takes flight.
You will be both tech-savvy and client-facing, managing complex timelines, cross-department coordination, and live show execution. As the day-of point of contact, you’ll lead communication between the client, pilots, technical teams, and vendors to guarantee seamless delivery, absolute safety, and exceptional client experiences.
The ideal candidate can multi-task while remaining organized, has a positive attitude, a creative mind, and an appetite for growth. They are highly organized, calm under pressure, and thrives in environments where precision and accountability matter most. They understand marketing, are comfortable interfacing with clients, and open to working in a start-up business environment. Interest in experiential events, drones/drone technology, and/or aviation is a plus.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-Show Planning & Compliance Oversight
- Lead the full pre-show readiness process: site research, permitting, and coordination with local municipalities, venues, and authorities.

- Review and confirm grid layouts, RTK setup plans, takeoff/landing zones, and other physical site elements meet safety and performance standards.
- Conduct internal Go/No-Go reviews, validating that all operational, safety, and compliance conditions are satisfied before launch.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients throughout pre-production, on-site execution, and post-show wrap.

- Maintain absolute adherence to Pixis and FAA safety requirements.
- Verify that all personnel complete site-specific and company-required safety briefings.
- Conduct safety audits, document findings, and ensure continuous improvement across events.
- Serve as the primary liaison for on-site emergency protocols and incident documentation when necessary.
